BEATHOVEN SYSTEM · RELATIONS & TRACKING

Music CRM: relationships that grow.

Relationships don't fit into an address spreadsheet. A music CRM helps maintain continuity between projects, contacts and decisions.

Contacts. Context preserved.

Organise your leads, keep a record of relevant outreach actions and the feedback received. The CRM complements the map of outlets, the information DATA and human work; it does not replace editorial judgement.

Frequently asked questions about the music CRM

What is a music CRM?

A music CRM is a relationship log designed for the promotion : media, radio stations, curators, venues and professionals you deal with. In Beathoven, it keeps contacts, notes, sends and responses in the same place, artist by artist.

Why not use a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet won't remind you when a follow-up is due, won't link an exchange to a release and quickly gets lost from one campaign to the next. Beathoven's music CRM keeps the history of each relationship, so you can pick up a conversation without starting from scratch.

How do you follow up a contact effectively?

A single follow-up, one to two weeks after the initial send, with a new element: a date, a video, or a first broadcast. The CRM flags contacts to follow up and records the responses received.

Are my contacts shared?

No. Notes and history remain in your dashboard. Professional contact details come from published directories or your own additions. The page customer relationship management on Wikipedia sets out the principles.

Is the music CRM included in Studio?

Yes. Beathoven Studio (€29 per month, no commitment) includes the CRM, media and radio contacts with full details, response tracking and the EPK Pro for each release.

Can I use it with the Beathoven team?

Yes. If you entrust a campaign to the team, communications and feedback are logged in your tracking, so you retain a complete view of your release and professional contacts.

How many contacts should you target for a release?

It's better to aim for fifteen to thirty well‑chosen contacts than two hundred random sends. The music CRM helps keep that selection clear: who received what, who replied, and who to follow up.

Can I add my own contacts?

Yes. Add your professional contacts, link them to an artist or a release, then track your communications with them just like directory contacts.

Does the CRM work on mobile?

Yes. The artist dashboard can be used from a phone: you can note a response or schedule a follow-up immediately after an exchange.
