Frequently asked questions about Music DATA
What is Beathoven's Music DATA?
Music DATA brings together the numbers that describe your artist's evolution: audience on platforms, tracks that are gaining, territories where your music music is listened to, and recent releases. Each figure is dated and sourced so you know where it comes from and when it was recorded.
How is Music DATA useful for a release?
It helps you decide where to focus your efforts: a territory that responds, a track that deserves a follow-up, or the right moment to contact media or radio. Music DATA informs a decision; it does not replace it, and should always be read alongside your own knowledge of the project.
Where do the figures come from?
From public sources and music‑industry measurement services, depending on the coverage available for your project. When a data point is missing, the app indicates that rather than estimating it. For an overview of the market, the annual report of theIFPI is a good reference.
Do I need a subscription?
Music DATA is included in Beathoven Studio (€29 per month, no commitment), together with EPK Pro, media and radio contacts, and tracking of your outreach.
Can I track multiple artists?
Yes. With Studio, you can track up to three artists in the same space: each artist's figures remain separate, with their own tracks, territories and releases, allowing you to compare their trajectories without mixing them.
Do the figures guarantee results?
No. They describe a situation at a given date. They are used to prepare a strategy, not to promise streams, airplay or articles.
How should I interpret a decrease?
A one‑off dip isn't necessarily a negative signal: it often follows the end of a feature or a playlist. Look at the trend over several weeks, compare territories and relate the figures to your recent actions before drawing conclusions.
Can I reuse my figures?
Yes. Reuse the relevant figures in your EPK or in a discussion with a professional, always including their date and source to remain accurate and credible.
