The story
Kriz Kardiak · Raclure
Kriz Kardiak, a Brussels experimental rock band active in the late 1970s and early 1980s, has been rediscovered thanks to recordings that remained unreleased for over forty years. Their sound sits at the crossroads of post-punk, the avant-garde and free jazz.
'Raclure' comes from sessions recorded in Brussels in the early 1980s, outside traditional channels. Found, restored and mixed, these analogue tapes allow the project to be heard again in a form faithful to its original energy.
Raw, tense and deconstructed, the track mixes post-punk energy with experimental freedom, featuring incisive songwriting and a deliberately anti-format approach.
