The story
Emry Ghill · L'Envers du décor
Emry Ghill brings together Emry, a singer-songwriter born in Tours and based in Belgium, and musician‑producer Amaury Gheysens. Together they develop a world between pop, soul and folk, where authenticity takes priority over appearance.
Taken from the EP GROW, 'L'Envers du décor' reveals a more intimate side: what we hide, and the moment we decide to stop lying to ourselves. A song both luminous and melancholic, carried by a subtle production by Silvano Macaluso.
Written in French, the track sounds like a liberation: that of an artist who finally chooses to be himself.
